The Institute of Corporate Directors National office and each of its local Chapters are accountable to a national Board of Directors. The Board is committed to corporate governance practices of the highest standards and effectively contributes to the ICD’s vision and mission.
The Board’s responsibilities include governance, leadership, and stewardship of the ICD, and guide and supervise the management of the business and affairs of the ICD. The mandate, functions and responsibilities of the Board and its committees are subject to the provisions of the ICD’s by-laws, the Canada Corporations Act and its regulations, the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act and its regulations.
